What is the difference between the HealthPro Compact, HealthPro, and HealthPro Plus?

The main difference between these units has to do with the inclusion or future availability of the V5 Gas & Odor filter. This filter is used to remove odors and gases from the air. The HealthPro Compact does not have the V5 Gas & Odor Filter. The HealthPro does not have the V5 Gas & Odor Filter but can be upgraded for $100.00 in the future if desired. This upgrade would add the V5 Gas & Odor Filter as well as change the digital readout which monitors filter life / controls the unit. This upgrade would effectively change a HealthPro unit to a HealthPro Plus. The HealthPro Plus unit has the V5 Gas & Odor filter.

Does any of the IQAir air purifiers emit ozone?

No - these units emit either no or negligble amounts of ozone.

How often do I need to replace the filters?

This will vary based upon which unit you own, what your environment is like, how often you run the unit, and at what speed. Our product specification pages should give you an estimated filter life based upon average usage. In addition, the IQAir units are unique in their digital readouts which provide you with estimated filter life and warn you when the unit estimates filters need to be replaced.

Will this unit eliminate dust from my home?

Although the IQAir line is fantastic at dust removal in comparison to other units on the market - we like to set our customers expectations appropriately. These units will not eliminate dust from your environment - they will only reduce the amount of dust. Dust comes from so many different sources and oftentimes adheres to surfaces to which the dust comes in contact. Because of this, it is practically impossible to completely eliminate dust altogether. Please call us and we would be happy to discuss with you our positive customer experiences in regards to the reduction of dust with this line.

Can the air purifier cover multiple rooms?

All air purifiers that we are aware of are most effective in the room that they are operating in. As all of our units rely on air to pass through the unit in order to be cleaned - this will limit the area that can be effectively purified without creating a "tornado" in your home. You can expect excellent purification in the room the unit is placed in and some degree of purification in adjacent spaces depending on the amount of open air flow.
