I had an older Air O Swiss humidifier which ran for three years, off and on every day, in my walk in cigar humidor. It was a bit difficult to refill. It finally went out after three years and I replaced it with this model. Far better shape, direction nozzle, and much easier to fill with distilled water.

Have had one of these for 8 years now and wanted another for a guest room. Easy and no mess, no mixing, hardly any scale to remove!

The humidifier was very nice and almost too silent. The mist was very heavy and seemed to since to the floor (and into our carpet) much to quickly.
I think you'd have to have it 6- 7ft off the ground to get any of the mist into the air.
Seems very well made, but we were looking for something with a finer mist.
