I HAVE BEEN USING FILTERED WATER FROM MY BRITA CONTAINER TO REFILL IT,BECAUSE OUR WATER CONTAINS A LOT OF IRON.
IT SEEMS THAT IT NEEDS TO BE REFILLED AFTER 2 OR 3 USES,BEEING IN USE FOR 6 HOURS/NIGHT.
I LIKE THE COLOUR BECAUSE STAINS FROM IRON RESIDUES WILL NOT CHANGE IT.
AFTER SEVERAL USES,I DID NOT HAVE TO CLEAN IT YET.

Puts out good steam but manufacturer advises not to breathe the steam. Expensive and clumsy to clean and maintain. Not really worth the effort.
Manufacturer extremely difficult and not helpful with complaints.

My air conditional causes me to wake up feeling nose, throat and lip very dry. I found out that dry nose is not good for my health, and it can increase the chances of getting infected with bacteria and viruses. So I decided to buy a humidifier that can automatically maintain humidity level of my room. After doing some researching, I come to realize that Air-O-Swiss 7147 is the best humidifier I could find in the market. I like the digital display that shows the current humidity level, and it enables me to set the exact humidity level that I want. The ultrasonic based device is not only quit but also has a user-friendly interface; its touch sensors are very responsive. I like the transparent water tank design as I can know how much water is left in the tank. The humidity sensor of AOS 7147 is very responsive to humidity changes in my room, and the device doesn't produce any white dust. With the automatic humidity control function, my room humidity level is always maintained around fifty percent. I bought this device over AOS 7144 is because the former is cheaper and both models have similar functionality. Refilling water for AOS 7147 is easy but for first time usage the demineralization cartridge needs to be soaked into water for twenty four hours. I ordered this product online and chose the ground free shipping, and it was shipped to me within a few days. The product functions as stated, and I am satisfied with the product and services.

I have mixed feelings about this product. It was very expensive compared to other humidifiers. It is well made. It is easy to use and appears easy to clean. One downside is that there are various items you have to buy (EZ Clean packets, demineralization granules, hydro stick) periodically to maintain it.

When I received it, I was surprised that it is smaller than I expected. That means it takes up less space, a good thing, but needs to be refilled more often than I originally expected (at least 1x per day). A big plus is that it is completely quiet. A disappointment that I was hoping to avoid with the demineralization granules and hydro stick is that it is still generating white dust. I love having a digital humidistat and the readout appears to be reasonably close to a separate humidistat I checked it against. So, again, I have mixed feelings about this product.

Bought the unit for a floor with 9' ceilings... all good so far. A full tank lasts about eight hours in the dry air from my radiator-heated 85 year old house.
