Alen A375UV Ultra Air Purifier

The A375UV is the top-of-the-line air purifier offered by Alen. This unit does an excellent job at providing comprehensive air cleaning at an affordable price. Four cleaning methods control all types of air pollution, including particles (dust, pollen, molds), odors, and also VOCs. The Alen innovative combination filter produces three levels of air filtration in one -- a pre-filter, a HEPA filter, and an activated carbon filter. Two UV lamps complete the cleaning process.

1. Pre-Filter - The pre-filter is designed to remove very large particles from the air, such as dust and hair. This pre-filter prolongs the life and efficiency of the HEPA filter.
   
   
2. HEPA Filter - The center of the A375UVs air filtration system is the HEPA filter. This filter will efficiently filter out 99.97% of all pollution particles that are 0.3 micrometers in diameter or larger. In addition, the filter can even effectively remove up to 97.5% of particles that are smaller than 0.3 microns. So even the very tiniest particles of pollen, dust, animal dander, dust mites, and mold are eliminated from the air you breathe.
   
   
3. Activated Carbon Filter - The third layer filtration is an activated carbon filter. This filter has an increased amount of carbon compared to the A350 model and can tackle even higher concentrations of common household odors, such as cooking odors, smoke, and pet odors. 4. UV Lamps with PCO Technology - Two UV lamps provide an additional layer of protection -- destroying viruses, bacteria, molds, and other allergens. In addition, these UV lamps contain PCO (Photo-Catalytic Oxidation) technology that will reduce the level of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) present in the air. VOCs are gases that are produced from a host of common home/office sources, such as glue, carpeting, printers, composite wood, and aerosols. VOCs are allergy and asthma triggers and are often undiagnosed sources of poor indoor air quality.

The A375 is very easy to use and maintain. One combination air filter means that there is only one filter to change. Simply remove the front cover and replace the 3-in-1 filter - no tools required.
