Create a healthier space that is free of symptom-triggering allergens, bacteria, and odors using the Alen T300 Tower Air Purifier. This HEPA air purifier features a three-in-one combination air filter that delivers multi-level air purification in spaces sized up to 560 square feet. This air cleaner is also equipped with an internal ultraviolet (UV) lamp to help destroy harmful bacteria and viruses that can cause a variety of ailments. Together, these components are housed in a sleek, space-saving tower that blends into nearly any décor.
Effective Air Filtration
Using a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter, the Alen T300 HEPA Tower removes 99.97% of allergen particles sized at 0.3 microns and larger. These particles include mold spores, pollen, pet dander, ragweed, dust mites, and dust particles. The T300 air cleaner also features a particle-catching pre-filter and an activated carbon filter. The pre-filter helps prolong the life of the HEPA filter by removing large particles before they reach the HEPA filter. The activated carbon filter helps absorb and remove irritating odors, creating fresher indoor air.
The Alen T300's built-in ionizer helps maximize performance of its combination HEPA filter. When the independent ionizer is activated, negative ions are released into the air. These ions attach themselves to positively charged particles to form larger particles that are more easily captured by the pre-filter and HEPA filter. Negative ions also help inhibit bacteria growth and enhance your mood and temperament. Rest assured that when using the ionizer, no ozone or unhealthy products will be released into your environment.
Ultraviolet Germicidal Protection
For even more effective air purification, this Alen air purifier uses an internal UV-C germicidal lamp to eliminate bacteria, viruses, and other disease-causing pathogens from the filtered air. When the UV light shines on these organisms, it breaks down their DNA structures and deactivates their reproductive capabilities. As a result, their internal cell structures collapse and the organisms die almost instantly. Like the onboard ionizer, this light is independently controlled using the electronic control panel.
Easy-To-Use Controls
The Alen T300 HEPA UV Tower Air Purifier includes an electronic pushbutton control panel for easy operation. Use the control panel to set one of four purification speeds, activate the 12-hour timer, power on the ionizer or UV lamp, and check filter life status. A filter replacement indicator lets you know exactly when it's time to replace the HEPA filter.

Other features of the Alen T300 HEPA Tower include:
- RoHS-Compliant – The T300 is free of lead, mercury, cadmium, and three other toxic substances restricted by the RoHS directive.
- Auto Shut-Off – When the front cover is removed, the air cleaner automatically shuts off to ensure safety.
- Quiet Operation – At its fourth and highest speed, the Alen T300 operates at 60 decibels, which is comparable to the sound of normal conversation. At its lowest speed, the system exerts just 36 decibels of sound, which is only slightly louder than a whisper.
- Filter Life – Filters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months depending on usage.

The Alen T300 is a great air purifier for a bedroom or office. I purchased two of the Alen T300 from this website. I have one in my son's room and one in my daughter's room. I have it set at a speed number 1. My son suffers from allergies and asthma and I think it helps to keep his room environment clean. He doesn't sneeze or cough as much as he did before. He is on medication for his symptoms but I also feel that the clean air that he breaths helps prevent his asthma from flaring up. He just sleeps a lot better and doesn't cough during the night.
I also like the fact that it has the UV lamp to kill bacteria. I now have a total of 4 Alen air purifiers in my home. I have two Alen 375UV for the living/family room and have it set at speed number 2. I was pleased with the product so I recently purchased two of the Alen T300. You really do notice a difference in the air. Since we have a brand new house, our house had that 'brand new' smell to it. After getting the Alen air purifier, the air doesn't have that musty smell. The air smells clean and doesn't have any odor to it.
You'll also be amazed at the amount of dust that collects on the sponge screen. I vacuum the sponge screen once a week and it helps prolong the life of the replacement filters. The HEPA replacement filters can be expensive but it does last anywhere between 5-6 months. Also, you can't beat the lifetime warranty that Alen provides. Alen is the only company that offers the lifetime warranty on its products. Knowing this, I felt safe purchasing this product. I know that if anything ever goes wrong, it will be repaired or replaced. Most of the other air purifiers only give you a 1-2 year warranty and as we all know, things begin to break after the 3rd year.
I would suggest that you do all the research before making a decision but the Alen air purifiers are hard to beat in terms of affordability and the lifetime warranty.

We heat partially with a woodstove, and a household member had a recurring and persistent sinus infection. As per doctors orders, we coupled a HEPA purifier with a warm-air humidifier; whether it is due to this or to the most recent round of antibiotics, the sinus infection has finally cleared. We like the ease of use, the optional UV, Ionizer, and silver HEPA filters -- that way we can control which factors are important to us in running the unit. We also like the small footprint of the item, and how easy it is to move from one room to another.

This is a terrific air cleaner. You are shocked when you take the filter out and see what you could have been breathing in. The only thing you need to know is that the filters are quite expensive to replace, and you should do so every year or so.
