The 5000 Exec by Allerair is a powerful all-purpose air purifier. Featuring four methods of filtration (prefilter, HEPA filter, carbon filtering, and antimicrobials) the 5000 Exec is one of the most comprehensive air purifiers on the market. The unit is stocked with 18 pounds of activated carbon, one of the most ancient and trusted forms of air and water purifiers. This large volume of carbon is critical in order to have enough surface area to completely clean the air. You will never find a miniscule amount of sprayed-on carbon (popular among some manufacturers) in an Allerair purifier.
