The Econoshield Box Spring Cover is made of 100% polypropylene non-woven fabric. Although it lacks an inner membrane, this dust mite barrier is constructed in such a manner that the fabric still acts like a membrane, letting zero allergens through. Three layers of fabric – Spunbond, Meltblown, and Spunbond Polypropylene – are melted and fused together to create the barrier. Unlike other dust mite proof bedcovers with vinyl membranes, which can be loud and cause skin irritation, AllerSoft’s Econoshield cover is quiet and soft-to-the-touch.
Caring for this boxspring cover is a breeze. Simply hand-wash the cover in cold water and let it air dry. The fabric will maintain its pore-free construction and original size throughout multiple washings.
