With a pore size of 4.91 microns, this cotton dust mite proof cover with rust-proof zipper prevents dust mites, which measure 100 to 300 microns in size, from getting inside your pillow. In addition, dust mites that have already taken up residence inside your pillow have no way of breaking out or feeding off of your dead skin flakes. The pillow protector also effectively repels dust mite feces, which measure about 10 microns in size, mold spores, and pet dander particles. This dust mite proof pillow cover is sanforized to prevent shrinkage and to maintain its pore size throughout multiple washes. Was concerned that I would feel the pillow casing inside my regular pillow case. Not at all, if I can tell, it isn't significant. Good stuff.

We received this product within the date given by Sylvane. It is easy to put on and the size fits our mattress with a little extra. It doesn't make a difference since it is simply a matter of tucking it under where needed. The 100% cotton is what attracted us to this product since I have allergies and 2 dogs. We have had it for 3 weeks so do not yet know how it will clean. So far, we're satisfied.
