The American Comfort ACW200 Series Portable Air Conditioners effectively cool your home while requiring little space and low maintenance. These compact air coolers deliver 8,000 BTUs of cooling power per hour with thermostatic control between 60 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. While the American Comfort ACW200C Portable Air Conditioner operates as a compact room air cooler, the American Comfort ACW200CH model can be used as a portable air conditioner and heater. The ACW200 Series portable ACs are recommended for spaces up to 150 square feet.

Auto-Drain Technology

This American Comfort portable AC features exceptional self-draining capabilities for true “set it and forget it” operation. With the innovative AutoDrain technology, you’ll hardly ever have to empty the drain bucket, making this unit a hassle-free alternative to standard portable ACs.

Unlike other portable air conditioners, which require you to drain condensed water by manually emptying a water bucket, the American Comfort ACW200C Portable AC automatically drains water using an atomizer that transforms the water into a fine mist. This mist is released from the unit along with its hot air exhaust. Additionally, for energy-efficient cooling, some of the condensed water is used to keep the portable air conditioner’s internal components cool.

The American Comfort ACW200 Series Portable Air Conditioners offer multiple operating modes and two-speed fans for maximum comfort. As a portable room air conditioner, the ACW200C produces 8,000 BTUs of direct cool air. While hot air is blown out of the back of the air cooler, the fan provides a constant supply of fresh, cool air through the front air grille.

In addition to cooling your immediate area, this 8,000-BTU portable air conditioner also helps to control the humidity in your space. When used as a room dehumidifier, the portable AC removes up to 66 pints of excess moisture from the air.

The American Comfort ACW200CH Portable Air Conditioner eliminates large particles visible to the human eye using a pre-filter. This washable air filter traps common airborne allergens such as dust, pet dander, mold spores, and pollen.

User-Friendly Controls

The American Comfort ACW200CH Portable Air Conditioner is equipped with a remote control and a user-friendly electronic control panel for easy operation. The handheld remote allows you to control the fan, temperature, timer, and sleep settings from a distance. The control panel features soft-touch buttons and an LED display screen.

The electronic display window shows the current room temperature while corresponding LED lights accompany each operating mode and programmed setting. Additionally, when the water bucket is full, a red warning light will illuminate and the compressor will automatically shut off the air cooler until the water is drained.
