The American Comfort ACW300 Series Portable Air Conditioner features 2 models: a cooling only AC (American Comfort ACW300C) and a cooling plus heat system (American Comfort ACW300CH). Both American Comfort portable ACs use 10,000 BTUs of power to provide efficient cooling spaces up to 350 square feet. In addition to an innovative automatic-draining system, this portable AC comes with a carbon filter for odors, programmable timer and electronic control panel.

Automatically Drains Excess Water

Using the innovative AutoDrain technology, this American Comfort portable AC features exceptional self-draining capabilities for true “set it and forget it” operation.  The American Comfort ACW300C Portable Air Conditioner automatically drains water using an atomizer that transforms the water into a fine mist. This mist is released from the unit along with its hot air exhaust.

Additionally, for energy-efficient cooling, some of the condensed water is used to keep the portable air conditioner’s internal components cool. If placed in extremely humid conditions, there is a back-up water container that holds collected condensate; if needed, the container can be easily drained from this back of the portable AC.

The American Comfort ACW300 Series Portable Air Conditioner offers 3 operating modes and a 2-speed fan for maximum comfort. In Cool mode, the ACW300C produces 10,000 BTUs of direct cool air.

In addition to cooling your immediate area, this 10,000-BTU portable air conditioner also helps to control the humidity. While cooling your space, the portable AC performs as a room dehumidifier, extracting up to 56.4 pints of excess moisture per day.

The American Comfort ACW300CH model delivers an even distribution of heat using heat pump technology. This function is an economical way to supplement your central air conditioning system during cold winter months.
