This easy-to-replace combination filter for the Austin Air HealthMate (HM400) includes a HEPA filter, a prefilter, and a carbon/zeolite mixture. These specialized filters offer unparalleled performance.
- The prefilter is outside of the HEPA filter to protect the unit and extend the life of the main filter.
- The HEPA filter is constructed of 60 sq. ft. of true HEPA medical-grade material.
- Contains approximately 15 lbs. of solid activated carbon and zeolite, which absorbs numerous gases and odors.
Plus Models – These filters contain potassium iodide for absorbing formaldehyde, ammonia, and other VOCs.

This product is great! Helps take care of my indoor allergies. Also, like it that I can turn the setting to Low at night and can hardly hear it. Also, can decide whether to set it at High or Medium during the day to clean the air more thoroughly at that time. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about a product like this.
