Pets are beloved members of the family. However, bringing them into the home can sometimes mean putting up with chronic pet allergies and less-than-appealing pet odors. To help combat these common issues, Austin Air has developed an air purifier that can significantly reduce the amount of pet irritants and odors in your home. Because this air cleaner uses the complete Austin Air 4-stage filtration process, the unit will also leave your environment free of many other common airborne polluters such as viruses, bacteria, pollen, chemicals and gases. The unit releases 400 cubic feet of clean, healthy air into your home every minute.

The Pet Machine employs multi-stage filtration to give the air a full-range cleaning:

Stage 1: Large Particle Prefilter
This removes the very largest particles of pet hair and dander – anything visible to the naked eye. Typical household dust and lint will be removed here as well.

Stage 2: Medium Particle Prefilter
Stage 2 filtration removes small- to medium-sized pet allergens from the air. Other common asthma and allergy triggers such as pollen and mold are also targeted in this stage.

Stage 3: Specialty Carbon Filter
In this step, 15 lbs. of blended Carbon and Zeolite powerfully eliminate odors from the air. This filter is enhanced with Ammonasorb to assist with the control of tough pet odors. Common gases found in almost every home, such as formaldehyde and ammonia, will also be safely removed.

Stage 4: HEPA Filter
The Austin Air medical grade HEPA filter removes 99.7% of the very smallest particles of pet dander and dust. Approximately 60 sq. ft. of filter material removes thousands of other microorganisms as well, such as harmful bacteria and viruses.
