The Pet Machine uses a multi-stage filtration to give the air a full-range cleaning:

Stage 1:  Large Particle Pre-Filter
This removes the very largest particles of pet hair and dander – anything visible to the naked eye.  Typical household dust and lint will be removed here as well.

Stage 2:  Medium Particle Pre-Filter
Stage two removes small to medium-sized pet allergens from the air.  Other common asthma and allergy triggers, such as pollen and mold, are also targeted in this stage.

Stage 3:  Specialty Carbon Filter
In this step, 15 pounds of blended Carbon and Zeolite powerfully eliminate odors from the air.  This filter is enhanced with Ammonasorb to assist with the control of tough pet odors.  Common gases found in most every home, such as formaldehyde and ammonia, will also be safely removed.

Stage 4:  HEPA Filter
The Austin Air medical grade HEPA filter removes 99.7% of the very smallest particles of pet dander and dust.  The 60 square feet of filter material removes thousands of other micro-organisms as well, such as harmful bacteria and viruses.
