The Modern Whynter Sno Makes Summers Cool

Whynter 13000 BTU Portable Air ConditionerWhile portable air conditioners are a great way to cool areas of your home without the need for expensive installation jobs, let’s face it, many of them are clunky and difficult to place discreetly in your home. However, the unique design of the Whynter Sno 13,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner will change your perception of portable ACs.

Standing barely over a foot tall, the Whynter Sno features a sleek, modern design with rounded edges on the body. Available in two colors, the Whynter ARC-13S features a platinum finish and the Whynter ARC-13W is a versatile Frost White. The Sno’s diminutive height allows users to place the air conditioner in inconspicuous areas, such as a corner or behind a sofa. Of course, the chic design of this Whynter portable air conditioner lends itself to even the most modern, minimalist decor—with no need to hide it. If you need a blast of cool air in a different area, built-in front casters, two large back wheels, a retractable pull cord, and a convenient handle make moves a breeze.

In addition to its modern design, the Whynter Sno offers 3-in-1 operation. It can be used in a fan-only mode when simple air circulation is all that’s necessary. Powered by 13,000 BTUs, this compact portable AC effectively cools areas up to 420 square feet. Thanks to a built-in thermostat, the Whynter Sno portable air conditioner easily maintains your desired temperature, cycling on and off automatically. Plus, if your home or office is experiencing excess moisture problems, this portable AC’s dehumidifier function removes up to 43 pints of moisture daily. Using the remote control, the Whynter Sno can be easily programmed to perform two subsequent functions, such as cooling and dehumidifying simultaneously.

This Whynter portable air conditioner was also designed for ease of operation. A 24-hour programmable timer makes set-it-and-go operation quick and easy, and the remote control allows you to make changes from a comfortable distance. Handy lights on the control panel indicate the portable air conditioner’s mode, while washable pre-filters save you money by eliminating the need to change filters.

The Sno features a Night mode that allows you run the portable air conditioner while you sleep with minimal noise. It also comes with auto-drain technology that removes all the excess moisture collected while cooling—so you won’t have to manually drain it like with other AC brands.

In the summer heat there is nothing like an air-conditioner to keep your sanity but remember to be environmentally friendly as possible when it comes to cooling your home this summer. Caulking and weather stripping around door, windows, and air conditioning ducts will keep cool air in during the summer. Even consider opening windows and using portable or ceiling fans instead of operating your air conditioner. Mild air movement of 1 mph can make you feel three or four degrees cooler!
