Advanced Air Treatment

Designed to deliver high-quality air treatment results, the Blueair 650E filtration system features an ion chamber along with patented HEPASilent™ filter technology to tackle the toughest airborne contaminants like pollen, dust, mold spores, and pet dander. First air is drawn into the air purifier and passes through the ionizer where airborne particles receive a negative ion charge to make them cling more easily to the filter. Rest assured during this process no ozone is emitted. In fact, Blueair air purifiers actually reduce indoor ozone levels.

The charged particles are then drawn to the HEPASilent filter. This high-efficiency filter traps up to six times more dirt than other air purifier systems. The HEPASilent filters are composed of fine polypropylene fibers that effectively captures 99.97% of allergens and other airborne particles 0.1 microns or larger—preventing them from re-entering your indoor environment.
