Blueair's E Series Air Purifiers Blueair has now expanded it's energy saving E Series air purifiers to include: Blueair 650E, 550E, 450E, and 270E. There are two product features that are specifically unique to the E Series: The E Series units are each Energy Star qualified. This energy savings will continue to save you money over the long-life of these products. Additionally, all E Series units have a digital display function. The digital display allows for updated unit features such as a unit timer, an electronic particle sensor, and an electronic gas sensor. A remote control is also included -- the ultimate in user convenience.

How Blueair Air Purifiers Work

The 650E effectively removes air pollutants from the air you breathe. In rooms as large as 698 square feet, Blueair's patented two-stage HEPASilent™ technology captures 99.97% of 0.1 micron particles, including allergy-provoking pollen grains, dust mites, mold spores and pet dander particles.

Blueair is the system for people living with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory conditions, or for anyone who wants cleaner, more breathable air. Advances in fan and filter design have dramatically improved efficiency, gaining the new 601/650E even better Clean Air Delivery Rates than the original Best of Class 501.

Value-added features include quiet operation, low energy use, steel construction and easy maintenance. This unit requires replacement of three filters every six months: simply open the side, slide out the used filters and drop in replacement filters.

Cleans Air Quietly

Sophisticated materials and precision engineering allow this purifier to clean indoor air without the noise associated with less advanced units. On the lowest setting, the units emit no more sound than a desktop computer. To achieve exceptionally quiet operation, the patented HEPASilent™ filter technology traps particles two ways: with mechanical and electrostatic filters. This combination creates a filter system through which air flows freely. Most air cleaners require a powerful, noisy fan to pull air through densely packed filters. Since air passes easily through the filter media, the fan doesn't have to work as hard or as loud. Even the housing is designed with quiet operation in mind, replacing sound-sonant plastic with noise-muffling steel.

Surround Air

Instead of discharging a windy stream of filtered air, the 650E diffuses air gently through an area six times greater than the average air cleaner. Operating on its lowest setting, Blueair air purifier produces virtually no noticeable draft, while still providing an exceptional air exchange rate. The SurroundAir™ system achieves peak performance without annoying drafts by drawing in dirty air from the sides and bottom, moving it through a less dense filter media, and releasing clean, filtered air from the sides and top.

Energy Star Qualified E Series

The Blueair E Series is Energy Star qualified, which helps save the environment and save you money. Phenomenally low power usage means you can run the system 24/7 without a jump in electricity consumption. In fact, it costs about the same to clean the air in your home as it does to power a single light bulb: only 30 watts on low to 120 watts on high.

5-Year Warranty

Blueair warrants that your air purifier will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase provided that you have completed and returned your warranty registration to Blueair, and that the filters are replaced with original Blueair replacement filters at least once every six (6) months (the Limited Warranty). Within the first 30 days of purchase Blueair will replace the defective unit at no charge to you and reimburse any shipping charges. After 30 days, Blueair's obligation and liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole discretion) the defective unit and paying the freight cost of returning the unit to you. The Limited Warranty does not cover replacement filters.
