Open up the box and its not even ready to go. You have to take the casters out of the cooler. In order to do that you have to open it up with a screwdriver. When we took the back off the hose broke off the shelf that distributes the water. Terrible design, cheap construction. Bad planning.

This product makes noises like an air conditioner, but certainly does not cool a small room down. The fan portion (after mailing back a broken one initially) is powerful, but that's all it is...a fan. I did not intend to pay nearly $200 for a large fan. Not impressed.

Today we made quite possibly the worst investment we have ever made. We bought this item for $180 and it didn´t cool a 10 x 10 room, let alone 300 sq ft as advertised. Sure, the unit was nice and quiet but after having the unit running in our small room for 6 hours, we just feel sticky from the humidity the machine puts out...and we´re still hot. Don´t waste your money, you can get a window unit for cheaper! This little nugget is going back to the store tomorrow.

This product works well in a small room. Our last cooler leaked. This cooler has a water tub that has no seams so no leaks. The empty/full indicator is down at the bottom of the unit so you have to really bend over to see the water level of the unit. We fill our cooler using a gallon water jug so we do spill some water. A hose might be more precise?? We haven't had to clean it yet so we can't tell you how easy/hard that will be to do. It is easy to move from room to room.

When my air quit I purchased unit to save my refrigerator. It saved me and two cats that adopted me. Been trying to find one for a friend who also thought it was the greatest.
