Evaporative cooling is an economical way to cool, and the Champion Cooler UltraCool CP65 Portable Evaporative Cooler is perfect for cooling areas up to approximately 450 square feet. It comes equipped with many features such as pump burn-out protection, oscillating louvers, and three speed digital display. Air is cooled while being drawn across wet evaporative media. The movement of this fresh cooled air over the skin is what makes it feel cool. The CP65 produces 650 CFM, and this unit also has four casters for stability and easy mobility. All the features of this evaporative cooler makes it perfect for cooling any area.
It is important when using an evaporative cooler in an enclosed space to have adequate exhaust by opening windows, doors, etc. Without an outlet to exhaust the air, humidity will build up in the enclosed space and the unit will not cool adequately. It is preferable to have an opening behind the unit to bring in fresh air and another opening across the room to exhaust and help move the air.
ATTENTION: This evaporative cooler performs best in dry, arid climates.

Hard to fill with water. Hard to maintain parts. Noise of unit is there, but manageable. Submersible pump lasted one year. Did a decent job of cooling, but who wants to buy this for one summer's use?

An excellent cooler. Used one last summer to cool my dining room, sitting room and living room (one cooler) and it did a fine job. Did not have to use my evaporative cooler until late late in the afternoon and then only on low. I had a different brand before and it barely lasted three months and did not have near the flexibilty that the the champion ultra cool has. Highly recommend. and cost efficient

Can't figure out how to change the water fins on side of unit. It has one screw, you can take the screw out, but can't change water pad or water fin. Other than that, it's a great unit. Would recommend to friends once I know how to change the pad or fin.

When I bought the product, the fan did not move side to side as advertised. I used it last year ad now the pump does not work, so now it is just an expensive fan. I will NEVER buy another product from ultra-cool again!!!!!!!!!!
