These controls allow users to program the dehumidifier for continuous operation, high-fan performance, set the timer, and adjust the BHD-301-G to your ideal humidity level. In addition, this Comfort Aire’s digital control panel always displays your area’s ambient humidity level as well as the desired humidity level to help you stay on top of the BHD-301-G’s progress.

Multiple Drainage Options

During the dehumidification process, excess water that accumulates is either collected in the Comfort-Aire BHD-301-G’s convenient front-loading water bucket or it is automatically emptied using a permanent drainage hose.  To remove the excess water manually, simply empty the water when necessary using the carrying handle. For continuous drainage, attach a drainage hose (not included) to the dehumidifier using the included adapter. Often, a standard garden hose works well or you can purchase a dehumidifier drainage hose inexpensively at home improvement stores. This allows you to continuously drain collected water into a convenient location, such as a nearby drain.

If water needs to be pumped up vertically for removal, such as from a basement, the Comfort Aire BHD-301-G can also be used with an optional condensate pump. Easy to install, this condensate pump provides up to 15 feet of vertical lift and comes with 20 feet of flexible drainage tubing.

• Automatic Overflow Protection: This unique feature automatically turns the dehumidifier off if the water collection tank becomes full. In addition, a Bucket Full indicator light will illuminate on the control panel. It will turn off once the bucket is emptied and properly replaced.

• 3 Minute Compressor Time Delay: To extend the life of your dehumidifier, a three-minute delay will prevent the compressor from starting prematurely. This feature also protects your compressor from being abruptly stopped, as it will only stop immediately due to a full condensate bucket or power failure.
• Check Filter Indicator: A convenient filter monitor light illuminates on the control panel when it is time to clean the convenient air filter. This air filter not only removes dirt and debris from your indoor air, it also prevents it from damaging the dehumidifier.
