Product Overview

The Comfort-Aire BHD-301-D Dehumidifier is ideal for controlling excess humidity in small rooms or in fairly dry environments where only supplemental dehumidification is required. Please note that this unit is not designed for low-temperature environments. If you require a dehumidifier that works in temperatures as low as 42 degrees F, please see this manufacturer's low-temperature dehumidifiers. These include the Comfort-Aire 651 and the Comfort-Aire 501.

The Comfort-Aire 301 is an excellent unit for:

• Preventing mildew or mold problems
• Spaces measuring 500 sq. ft. or less
• Areas that are not excessively damp or cold
• Keeping small spaces, such as bedrooms, home offices, and nurseries, at an ideal humidity

Settings

The Comfort-Aire BHD-301 features easy-to-use manual controls that are located on the top of the unit for easy access. With two fan speeds and a range of dehumidification settings, you can set your system to best fit your needs.

Drainage Options

The water that accumulates inside the dehumidifier can either be collected in the included water container or eliminated automatically using a permanent drainage hose. The front-loading water container is easily removed and emptied using its convenient carrying handle. Continuous drainage with a hose is also easily setup. Simply attach the hose to the unit using the included adapter. The unit will then drain the collected water into a convenient location, such as a nearby floor drain. The drainage hose uses gravity to pull water out of the machine, so it must be placed in a downward position to work correctly.

Automatic Overflow Protection

A unique feature of the Comfort Aire 301 is its smart shut-off control. If the water collection container becomes full, the unit automatically shuts off to prevent overflow. Additionally, three alarm beeps will sound, and the display will show a "Full" indicator message to alert you.

Slide-Out Filter

In addition, this Comfort-Aire dehumidifier features a slide-out air filter to help minimize the amount of airborne debris and pollutants that enter the machine. The filter can easily be removed, cleaned, and reused.

Auto-Restart

Unlike many other dehumidifiers on the market, this unit automatically restarts after a power failure. The unique feature allows you to rest easy with the knowledge that your dehumidifier will keep running even after a power outage.
