Easy-To-Use Controls

The Comfort Aire BHD-651 Dehumidifier features easy-to-use digital controls. These electronic controls are conveniently located on the top of the unit for easy accessibility. Use them to adjust the ideal humidity level for your space. A digital display shows the ambient humidity level as well as your desired humidity level to keep you on top of the unit's progress.

Two Drainage Options

The Comfort-Aire 651 unit offers two options for eliminating collected moisture. First, you can empty collected water manually by removing the water container, emptying, and replacing. The container's front-loaded configuration and carrying handle make it easy for you to carry the container to and from the unit. You can also remove water through a permanent drainage hose. To set up this configuration, simply install a drainage hose using the included adapter. This will allow the machine to drain the collected water into a convenient location, such as a nearby drain or through a doorway to the outside. The drainage hose uses the force of gravity to pull the water out of the machine. Therefore, it must be placed in a downward position to work effectively.

This unit can also be configured for condensate pump drainage using a condensate pump accessory, sold separately.

Automatic Overflow Protection

A unique feature of this Comfort-Aire dehumidifier is its intelligent overflow protection function. Should the water collection container become full, the unit will automatically shut off to prevent overflow and damage to the unit's surroundings. In addition, three alarm beeps will sound and the display will show a "Full" indicator message to alert you.

Slide-Out Air Filter

The 651 Dehumidifier features a slide-out air filter to help minimize the amount of debris and pollutants that can enter the machine. This filter can easily be removed, cleaned, and reused. There is virtually no need to replace it.

Automatic Restart on Power Failure

Unlike other dehumidifiers on the market, this unit will automatically restart after a power failure. The unique feature helps you rest easy, knowing that your dehumidifier will keep running even after a power outage.
