Cool Mist Humidifiers

Cool mist humidifiers, also called evaporative humidifiers, use an internal wick filter to absorb water while a fan blows air through the filter, causing the water to evaporate as an invisible mist. The wick filters also help to reduce impurities from the water before it evaporates into your air. Cool mist humidifiers may be a bit noisier than other humidifier types because they have more moving parts. They can usually humidify larger spaces, and they use less electricity when compared to other types because they don’t have to heat the water beforehand.
