Multiple Drainage Options

As a second method, you can gravity drain the moisture and deposit it into a nearby drain using the included drain hose and the drain port on the back of the system. As a third option, you can configure this Danby 50-pint dehumidifier to pump collected moisture to another location or even upward through a window by using the condensate pump accessory (sold separately).

Intuitive Humidity Control

Maintaining your ideal humidity level is easier than ever with this Danby portable dehumidifier. To set the humidity, simply toggle the up/down arrow buttons on the system's electronic control panel to your desired percentage. The dehumidifier allows you to adjust humidity from 30% to 90% in 5% increments. Once the humidity level is defined, the unit's compressor cycles on and off to maintain the setting automatically. The control panel always displays the ambient humidity level and temperature to help you stay on top of operation. Two fan speeds also help effectively distribute dehumidified air throughout your indoor environment.
