3-in-1 Home Comfort System

This multi-functional portable air conditioner was designed to provide users with three robust air treatment options. The Premiere DPAC12099’s cooling mode provides a 12,000-BTU cooling capacity, which enables this portable air conditioner to quickly and efficiently cool your bedroom, den, office, or any medium-sized space. A convenient window installation kit and dual air exchange hoses ensure that fresh air is drawn into the room and stale air pushed out. Variable fan speeds and a digital thermostat allow you to program this Danby portable air conditioner to your perfecting temperature settings. (Note: Temperature adjustments can only be made in cooling mode.)

The Danby Premiere DPAC12099 also features a dehumidify mode to prevent uncomfortable, humid areas within your home or office. This 54-pint dehumidifier draws air into the Premiere DPAC12099, removes the moisture, and disperses the dry air throughout your home. The fan automatically operates on medium speed for temperatures below 77 degrees Fahrenheit. If room temperatures are above this, the fan can be adjusted; otherwise it will operate on low speed automatically.

The fan-only mode provides the option of simply circulating air on those comfortable days when neither air conditioning nor dehumidification is necessary. The fan can be adjusted to circulate air on a high, medium, or low setting.

The Danby DPAC12099 also features a direct drain option for continuous operation. 

User-Friendly Control Panel

This Danby air conditioner has a simple, easy-to-use control panel. The control panel includes multi-colored lights that clearly indicate when the air conditioner is turned on, which mode is operating, and which fan speed is being used. Users can choose between three modes: cooling, dehumidifying, and fan-only. There also three fan speeds — high, medium, and low — and an oscillating function that are both adjustable with each mode.

The cooling mode has two additional functions on the control panel. Using the adjustable digital thermostat, you can program the Danby portable air conditioner to maintain your desired temperature. The Auto-Timer function also allows you to program the air conditioner to turn on and off automatically. For example, if you work a traditional eight-hour day, you can program your Danby DPAC12099 to automatically turn on after eight hours or sooner, if you would like the room to be cool as soon as you get home. Additionally, if you don’t want the hassle of remembering to turn the air conditioner off during the night when outside temperatures are typically lower, you can program this portable air conditioner to turn off after a specified number of hours (between one and 24).

The control panel also has a warning light. When illuminated, this light indicates that the air conditioner’s internal tank is full. The air conditioner will not operate until the tank has been drained.

Eco-Friendly Design

Taking advantage of the benefits of R-410A refrigerant and 100% recycled packaging, the Danby DPAC12099 is not only good for the air inside your home, it is also good for the environment as well.
