Energy Star®-rated for efficient and economical operation, the DeLonghi DE400 Dehumidifier removes up to 40 pints of water from your environment each day. Ideal for use in cooler basements, the unit is designed to function quietly at an operating temperature as low as 44 degrees Fahrenheit. It can also be used to dehumidify medium- to large-sized rooms, including bedrooms, offices, and living areas.

The DeLonghi DE400 Dehumidifier requires virtually no assembly. To operate the unit in manual drainage mode, simply plug in the power cord and select the desired settings and functions using the electronic control panel. Continuous drainage setup takes only a few minutes. A 1.5-mm. drill bit and drill tool is required to open the draining outlet in order to connect the 3-ft. drainage hose. Product features include:

Intuitive Features For Customized Operation

Soft-touch controls, a large LCD display, and a 24-hour programmable timer with start, stop, and delay functions enable you to easily set, read, and program the unit's dehumidification operations. The unit also features a built-in electronic adjustable humidistat and fan-only control with three speeds (low, medium, and high) to allow you to easily craft your desired level of comfort.

Manual and Continuous Drainage

The dehumidifier can be configured for manual removal of collected water by emptying the collection tank or for continuous gravity draining through an optional 3-ft. drainage hose included with the unit.

Tank Control System and Advanced Air Filtration

A special safety tank control system prevents water overflow as a result of a full tank, an improperly positioned tank, a missing tank, or an obstruction in the drainage hose. Your environment will also benefit from the dehumidifier's advanced air filtration technology, which employs a permanent, washable air filter to trap bothersome dust particles while extending the life of the unit.

Easy Positioning

Positioning the dehumidifier is simple. Durable, easy-roll caster wheels allow you to effortlessly move the unit from room to room. A unique lateral intake/outtake grill design also provides several positioning options, including directly against a wall.
