Four Operating Modes

The DeLonghi A130HPE – also known as the DeLonghi PAC A130HPE Pinguino – puts year-round comfort at your fingertips using four operating modes. These include:

• Air Conditioner – In this mode, the A130HPE cools your space with the help of a fully adjustable thermostat and three selectable fan speeds. Simply toggle the pushbutton temperature controls to find your ideal temperature and then select between low, medium, and high fan speeds. Additionally, an auto mode automatically selects the most appropriate cooling speed based on ambient conditions.


• Dehumidifier – This setting is ideal for reducing your room's humidity in the spring or fall months as well as anytime your space feels damp and muggy. To use, toggle the "Mode" button on the control panel until the dehumidifier icon is illuminated. The portable air conditioner will then begin removing excess moisture from your environment and exhausting it through DeLonghi's patented dripless technology. No more buckets to empty!


• Heater– Ideal for use during the colder months, the A130HPE portable AC has a built-in heat pump that provides 3,810 watts of heating power. Use this mode for supplemental heating anytime you need it.


• Fan – This setting provides comfortable air circulation for times when you don't need to cool, but would benefit from a little room ventilation. To set up, toggle the "Mode" button until the fan icon is illuminated and select your desired fan speed.

No-Drip Technology

The A130HPE portable AC and heater features DeLonghi's patented dripless exhaust technology. During cooling and dehumidification, collected condensation is automatically evaporated through the included exhaust hose. This means that you'll never have to empty a water bucket again. Easy-to-follow set up instructions for exhausting condensation through double-hung or sliding windows are included in the Owner's Manual.
