How It Works
The W130E is a water-to-air portable air conditioner. For maximum cooling, this unit can be filled with water to assist in the cooling process. The water is used to cool the internal compressor, resulting in faster, more powerful, and more efficient cooling. The water will help to cool the unit and then will be discharged through the exhaust hose. One tank of water can provide up to 12 hours of continuous water operation.

You can choose between three different modes/power levels of cooling. Utilizing the water cooling function, combined with a "Turbo" setting, provides maximum cooling power. These 13,000 BTUs are enough to quickly cool a large room up to approximately 450 square feet. For times when less cooling power is needed, water cooling combined with the "Supercool Mode" will provide 11,000 BTUs of cool air. Should the water tank empty and not be re-filled, the unit will automatically switch to normal air operation. Air cooling in this "Cool" mode will still generate 9,000 BTUs of cooling.

The Pinguino W130E is also an effective dehumidifier, helping you keep the air in your home dry, as well as cool. In fact, this unit can remove more than 70 pints of water when operating in the dehumidifying-only mode. Under normal conditions, this unit is "dripless," meaning that the unit will discharge all of the moisture collected from the air through the exhaust. When extracting large volumes of water in the "Dehumidifier Only" mode, excess water will be collected in the internal collection tank. The air conditioner will automatically turn off once the tank is full, until emptied. You may also use the gravity drain hose included as a no-fuss way to eliminate excess water as needed.

This unit also contains an upgraded air filtering system which will filter out allergens and impurities from the air. The W130E uses the exclusive 3M Biosilver Techsystem, an electrostatic air filter plus silver ion filter and ionizer. The combination of these elements keeps your air clean of particles, germs and bacteria, and even odors. This level of superior air cleaning is virtually unheard of in a portable air conditioner.
