The digital transmitter controls your fireplace from 50 feet away. The remote signal can pass through walls and most obstacles without directly pointing at the heater. The manual control panel, located on the front of the firebox, contains an initialization button that synchronizes the remote control with your Dimplex Marana Media Console Electric Fireplace. Once you press the button, the remote control sends a code of 243 independent frequencies to the heater’s circuit board to prevent interference with other units.
