Multi-Fire Technology

The Dimplex Multi-Fire allows you to control the ember bed effects and adjust flame speed and appearance to create the perfect atmosphere with the simple press of a button. Using the remote control, you can set your ideal flame speed and select the slow start option. In this function, the flames and embers automatically simulates the appearance of a starting fire for 30 seconds and eventually build into an intense, realistic fire. You can conclude with the fading embers function, which dims the ember beds to resemble a fire going out. The fading embers timer can be set for 1, 5, or 10 minutes.

Dimplex electric fireplaces use patented flame technology to produce a life-like flame effect. Multi-Functional Digital Remote

With a digital display and user-friendly symbols, this remote control makes operating your Newton heater a breeze. This deluxe remote control displays the current room temperature and your desired temperature. In addition to allowing you to set an ideal room temperature, the remote includes a light dimmer that controls the brightness of the interior firebox lights. With the multi-functional remote control, you can also adjust the flame speed and Purifire settings with the touch of a button. Plus, it notifies you when the batteries need to be replaced.

The digital transmitter controls your fireplace from 50 feet away. The remote signal can pass through walls and most obstacles without directly pointing at the heater. The manual control panel, located on the front of the firebox, contains an initialization button that synchronizes the remote control with your Dimplex Newport Electric Fireplace. Once you press the button, the remote control sends a code of 243 independent frequencies to the heater’s circuit board to prevent interference with other units.
