The Novara Media Console Electric Fireplace is equipped with preventative safety measures to protect you and your family. Built-in overheat protection automatically turns the heat off in the event of overheating. Once activated, the automatic shutoff prevents the fireplace from being restarted until it is manually reset, to ensure optimal safety. Beautiful fireplace/entertainment center.I was missing 2 shelf screws and the delivery of missing parts took over 2 weeks to get. Also, 1 of the shelf screws will not scew in all the way. I just screwed it in as far as it would and hope it holds the shelf up. But, seller did include a touch up pen in missing parts kit. That was a suprise. The glass cover for the fireplace rattles when heat sorce is turned on. Kind of annoying. I really think this fireplace is beautiful and would purchase it again.
