The Dimplex TWH Series of Electric Wall Heaters is a compact multi-purpose unit ideal for use where space is limited. The TWH provides instant heat to replace cold air, and it is ideal where exterior doors are prevalent and cold drafts are common. Common applications are in entryways, hallways, kitchens, basements, bathrooms and workshops. This heater can be installed vertically or horizontally, and since it's only 3 inches deep, it can be recessed into a wall cavity or surface mounted, using the optional surface mount box. NOTE: The thermostat (knob) pictured is not included and must be purchased separately for this product to work properly. You can mount an integrated thermostat directly on the heater, or connect the heater to a wall thermostat.
Features
A nickel chromium element is totally enclosed within a steel element sheath and spiral steel fins are firmly brazed to the surface to provide excellent heat transfer. The enclosed steel sheath element not only offers superior heat transfer, but also durability and safety when compared to an open coil element, which commonly used in other heaters. This TWH heater also features built-in over heat protection that automatically ensures safety.
The Dimplex TWH Series of Electric Fan Forced Heaters also provides nearly silent operation. The quiet fan operation allows the TWH to heat quickly for maximum comfort and minimal noise.

In my haste to prepare for heater's arrival, I secured an incorrect installation pdf that called for an opening that was an inch too narrow. When unit did arrive, I had to carefully excise some existing wood frame. My fault for being impatient. Note that this is a 240v heater, and, as such, will need a designated circuit from your panel box with properly sized wire and a two pole breaker. Hire a real sparkey if in doubt about wiring. The heater does a wonderful job, and Sylvane is a first class supplier.

Bought for a shed with 110 power. Heats a 100 sq ft shed no problem at all.

Was not difficult to install. Need to make your hole exact as there is very little room for mistakes and the cover just fits.
Seems to be heating perfectly and is very quiet! Nice thing.

These heaters seem to do their job for what we need them for. Was a little disappointed that it took over a week to ship then another week to arrive. But overall the product is good. Easy to install without to many issues.
