Protimeter MMS Plus (Moisture Measurement System + Logging) is a complete tool for the water restoration professional. Three separate moisture meters are packed into one package for complete job assessment.
This tool is capable of measuring moisture in solid materials in two ways. Search Mode can quickly detect structure moisture without making any surface holes – useful for hard surfaces such as ceramic tile or decorative surfaces such as vinyl flooring. This Mode also allows you to measure moisture deep within the material, independent of surface moisture - an important distinction when assessing water damage. Search Mode uses non-invasive radio frequency to determine relative moisture levels.
The second measuring technique, Measure Mode, uses the more traditional pin electrodes which are inserted into the material being measured. This method produces precise readings of moisture content in wood or Wood Moisture Equivalent (WME) in other materials.
A third Mode, Hygrometer Mode, is useful for measuring building conditions such as temperature, relative humidity, dewpoint, proximity to dewpoint, and grains per pound (GPP) with the modular, replaceable Protimeter Hygrostick™.
In addition, you can keep all of these measurements documented with the built-in logging system. Store up to 1,000 entries stamped with date and time, ready for download onto your computer. With all of these exciting features, the Protimeter MMS Plus is the perfect tool for the busy professional.
