The Dri-Eaz Dragon X2 Industrial Heater allows you to bring all the heat you need right to the job site. The trailer-mounted diesel-fired Dragon X2 provides up to three days of continuous operation without refueling. The unit's 55 gal. onboard tank eliminates the mess and hassle of external tanks and/or daily refueling required by other mobile heaters. The Dragon's 100,000 BTU capacity, three-outlet design and recirculation capability delivers maximum heat to the job site for restoration, event shelters, and work areas – wherever clean, dry temporary heat is needed.
The Dri-Eaz Dragon X2 is completely self-contained in its own weatherproof DOT-approved trailer, the Dragon X2 saves space in your vehicles and provides safer, more secure operation than other heater types running inside occupied structures. The Dragon utilizes an indirect-fired design, which keeps combustion air and exhaust completely separate from the air it heats. This allows the Dragon to deliver heated air without adding fumes, smoke or moisture. The Dragon X2 Mobile Furnace is designed to operate on a 115V/60 Hz electrical connection, and the unit requires 10 amps.
The clean, dry heat from the Dri-Eaz Dragon X2 helps reduce drying times while maintaining stable and comfortable temperatures. The Dragon is ideal for wide range of applications, including
For use in water damage restoration and new construction drying, the Dragon can increase drying efficiency. The added heat from the Dragon will increase the rate of evaporation by decreasing the relative humidity of the affected area. Raising the temperature of a drying area with the Dragon from 60° to 70°F can increase the evaporative potential of your existing drying system up to 45 percent.
The Dragon X2 is equipped with a remote thermostat that can be used to control the temperature in the target area. The remote thermostat allows you to precisely control the temperature of the affected area. Maintaining a steady temperature can reduce fuel consumption while maintaining the ideal drying temperature inside the structure. Of course, thermostatic control is critical for providing safe, comfortable temporary heat in occupied areas. In many cases, using the thermostat will also significantly increase your run time between refuelings. To use the Dragon in thermostat mode, set the desired temperature on the thermostat control for a maximum of 102°F (39°C) and place the control in the target area
