Product Overview

Rugged, durable, and highly portable, the Dri-Eaz LGR 2800i Dehumidifier is a workhorse of a machine, built to complete high-performance dehumidification in structural environments. Ideally suited for water damage restoration, structural drying, construction, and other applications that require temporary industrial-strength dehumidification, the LGR 2800i reduces humidity by removing excess water vapor from the air. With proper usage, this unit can help dry carpeting, carpet pads, floors, walls, building contents, and much more. It can also help prevent secondary damage caused by seasonally high humidity.

How It Works

The LGR 2800i industrial dehumidifier lowers humidity by pulling moist air in and moving it across a cold evaporator coil. Moisture condenses into water on this coil. The water is pumped out of the unit through the supplied drain hose using an internal condensate pump system. The water can be pumped to a nearby drain, sink, bucket, or to the outdoors with approximately 20 ft. of vertical lift if necessary.

For the most effective drying results in your application, consider using the LGR 2800i with air movers, such as Dri-Eaz Ace TurboDryer Air Movers. When air movers are placed around the perimeter of a space to be dried, these appliances help to better distribute heat energy and release moisture from wet surfaces into the air.

Manufactured in the United States, the Dri-Eaz LGR 2800i Portable Dehumidifier (Dri-Eaz Item # F410) includes an array of easy-to-use functions to give you greater control over operation. Many of these features can also give you additional insight into your jobsite efficiency.

• Built-In Thermohygrometer – Continuously monitors and displays inlet and outlet conditions on the unit's easy-to-read control panel.
• Automatic Humidistat – The unit's built-in humidistat performs automatic humidity control in all conditions.
• High-Temperature Mode – When operating in this automatic mode, the LGR 2800i removes moisture in temperatures of up to 125 degrees F. No manual adjustment is required.
• Automatic Airflow Adjustment – This function optimizes the unit's performance in low-grain conditions.
• Defrost Mode – In very cold temperatures, the unit automatically begins operating in defrost mode. In this mode, any frost that accumulates on the evaporator coil is heated and transformed into condensation.
• Pushbutton Control Panel – This panel features a digital display and touchpad with 4 different keys.
• Integrated Handle – Use this handle for easy mobility of the unit.
• HygroTrac-Ready – Built-in wireless sensors are compatible with the Dri-Eaz HygroTrac Remote Monitoring System. This system allows you to track dehumidifier performance and drying progress automatically through the HygroTrac website.
• Microban-Infused Drip Pan – The unit's drip pan features Microban antimicrobial product protection. This helps inhibit the growth of odor- and stain-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew.
• Rotomolded Housing – The LGR 2800i commercial dehumidifier features Dri-Eaz's legendary rotomolded polyethylene housing. This type of outer shell resists dents and scratches and stays looking new for longer periods of time.
• Semi-Pneumatic Tires – These tires are puncture-proof, lightweight, and rugged for a long service life.
• Water Removal Capacity – AHAM Capacity: 130 pints; Maximum Capacity: 200 pints per day at 90 degrees F and 90% relative humidity.
• High Air-Flow Air Filter – The unit is equipped with a 3M High Air-Flow Air Filter; Dri-Eaz Part # F421. This filter can be vacuumed clean and re-used up to 3 times.
• Detachable Power Cord – This cord measures 25 ft. for usage flexibility.
• 40-Ft. Drain Hose – Connects to the unit's condensate pump system using its quick-connect fitting.

The 2800i uses wireless sensor technology to automatically monitor and display its inlet and outlet conditions on the control panel. This gives you instant access to consistent and accurate readings so that you can better manage unit operation and jobsite progress.

In addition, the LGR 2800i is compatible with the HygroTrac Remote Monitoring System (sold as an accessory). This system allows you to monitor job conditions and equipment performance in real-time via the Internet at any time and from any place. All you have to do is place a HygroTrac gateway at the jobsite, which will transmit humidity and temperature values to the secure HygroTrac website. Upon logging into the site, you can view system information, examine performance metrics, and generate a variety of reports, charts, and graphs. The HygroTrack system also allows you to:

• View minute-by-minute temperature, relative humidity, and grain depression readings over the Internet.
• Set up automatic alarms to be notified of moisture-related problems via text message or e-mail.
• More thoroughly document jobsite progress.
• Make better drying decisions and allocate personnel and equipment more effectively.
• Continually confirm location and status of your unit(s).
