I purchased this from Sylvane, the transaction was smooth, the delivery was timely as promised. The packaging of the product was very good, no damage to the vacuum of any type. The instructions and assembly were very good, accurate, easy to understand and very little assembly required.

I also enjoyed the short story of Mr. Dyson, his products he had designed in his career. The hose system for hand vacuuming was a little awkward to get used to, mainly because it was different from all the other vacuums I had ever owned, but once I got used to it I like it better than the conventional hoovers and such that I had purchased before for about one hundred dollars. Everything clicks together nicely and all the accessories store nicely on the vacuum. The handle release is a little awkward, I would prefer it to be down on the side so it can be operated by the foot, but again it was also just a matter of getting used to it, when I did I did not find it to be a big deal.

The cord length is good, I am guessing it is a twenty five foot cord, my last vacuum was a twenty foot long one and it was kind of a pain to keep unplugging and moving. I did not purchase the extra accessory kit but still may as I have to get used to it. We had just remodeled our house and the amount of carpet was reduced drastically, and was replaced with laminate flooring, this model is the multi floor model, which seems to work well with dog hair, which we own three dogs and we tend to get a lot of dog hair on the laminate floor. All in all, this was a very good purchase, the price was the best price I could find on the internet at the time, and would recommend the product and the company.
