The Dyson DC44 comes with a wand that’s just under 26 inches long to clean floors and ceilings—and everywhere in between. If you need a handheld vacuum for quick cleaning, you can attach the floor tool directly to the machine (by removing the wand), and easily turn it into a handheld vacuum.

Increased Power and Run Time

A motorized floor tool with 2 types of bristles makes it possible for this model to clean different surfaces. Ultra-fine, anti-static carbon fiber filaments grab fine dust particles from hard floors while stiff nylon bristles remove dirt and debris from carpets.

The DC44 Animal Cordless Vacuum also increased its run time to 20 minutes of high, constant power. Its Boost mode, which is designed for tougher cleans, runs for 8 minutes. Other vacuums claim a longer run time, but this model provides even power while it’s in use.
