The Ebac AD850E Dehumidifier effectively combines style with performance. This high-efficiency dehumidifier removes up to 87 pints of moisture each day from damp to extremely wet environments. The Ebac AD850E also comes with two removable, washable air filters, an internal condensate pump, low-temperature capability, two powerful fan speeds, and more.

In addition to these performance features, the streamlined design and neutral color of the AD850E complement any décor. The digital display and soft-touch controls allow you to quickly and easily program settings for it. Plus, the Ebac AD850E offers flexible installation options.

Mighty Moisture Removal

The Ebac AD850E controls the relative humidity of your spaces up to 1,700 square feet by drawing wet, uncomfortable air into the unit and condensing the excess moisture as it passes over the cooling elements. Then, the dried air passes through a final heat exchange where it is slightly warmed and re-distributed throughout your environment. * Meanwhile, the excess moisture is automatically pumped out of the Ebac AD850E using the convenient built-in condensate pump and can be directed into a fixed drain using an external condensate hose (not included).

This Ebac dehumidifier also comes with an internal humidistat that monitors the dehumidifier’s performance. This allows the AD850E to automatically switch off and on to maintain your desired level of humidity and save on energy costs.

*Although the air is slightly heated, the comfort of your room will not suffer because dry air makes your space feel cooler even at a slightly higher temperature.

What is the ideal humidity level this unit should maintain?

We recommend you maintain a humidity level of between 45 and 50 percent. Too much humidity creates an ideal environment for mold, dust mites, bacteria, and pests to thrive. Too little humidity can be just as damaging by causing health issues such as an increase in colds and the flu and irritated skin and respiratory passages. Should a dehumidifier be setup as close to floor level as possible or will they work the same if raised a few feet up off the ground?

Dehumidifiers can be either situated on a floor level or raised without affecting operation. When raised a few feet, the dehumidifier will benefit from improved gravity drainage.
