Comments about Ebac WM150 Dehumidifier:

Although the unit seems to perform decent, the stated CFM rating is nowhere close to
what the machine actually produces. If the cfm was where it was supposed to be, the
machine would be well worth the money. As it stands now, it makes me wonder if I should have purchased a different unit.

What is the ideal humidity level this unit should maintain?

We recommend you maintain a humidity level of between 45 and 50 percent. Too much humidity creates an ideal environment for mold, dust mites, bacteria, and pests to thrive. Too little humidity can be just as damaging by causing health issues such as an increase in colds and the flu and irritated skin and respiratory passages. Should a dehumidifier be setup as close to floor level as possible or will they work the same if raised a few feet up off the ground?

Dehumidifiers can be either situated on a floor level or raised without affecting operation. When raised a few feet, the dehumidifier will benefit from improved gravity drainage.
