99.999% Germ-Free Moisture
The Enviracaire EWM-220 Humidifier uses an innovative 2-step sanitization process to create moisture that's 99.999% free of germs and impurities. First, ultraviolet (UV) germicidal light shines on the water in the UV chamber as it moves into a stainless steel hot water reservoir, killing germs and microorganisms on contact. Next, water moves into the stainless steel hot water reservoir where it's sterilized through boiling action. A clean invisible warm mist is then distributed throughout your space. The EWM-220 is especially ideal if you suffer from allergies or asthma since it produces moisture free of symptom-triggering allergens.
Simple Setup and Operation
The Enviracaire Germ Free Humidifier offers simple, hassle-free operation and quick setup for fast relief. Out of the box, fill the dual water tanks under a faucet and use the soft-grip handles to replace the tanks effortlessly. Turn on the humidifier and use the adjustable humidity knob to set your desired mist output with 4 levels to choose from. Add liquid medicine to the optional medicine cup for added relief when you need it. A refill indicator light lets you know when it's time to refill the water tanks.

I am very happy with this product. It is easy to use. It is reasonably quiet, though not as quiet as I think would be ideal. My Air-O-Swiss 7147 is almost noiseless.
I am very happy with this product. It is easy to use. It is reasonably quiet, though not as quiet as I think would be ideal. My Air-O-Swiss 7147 is almost noiseless.
So far it has been easy enough to clean, although some areas are only accessible by Q-Tip. I love the simplicity of the demineralization pad. I also love the fact that the mineral crystals collect on the conical plastic part, which is simple to clean. The two tanks are easy to remove and carry. The handles are very conveniently designed. Overall, I think it is a good product.

I had to return this item because the power button stopped working and I had to unplug the unit to turn it off. I had it for about a week. I was very disappointed that a product would stop working properly in such a short time. I did like the design and ease of filling the unit. It had to be filled daily which wasn't a problem. Cleaning was tedious but it is will all humidifiers. Sylvane was great in returning the product and giving me a full refund. I didn't want to bother with trying out another one. Not sure if anyone else had this problem?

This replaces my Slant Fin (pretty much identical) humidifier which I've used for the past 6 years. I was very happy with it! It lasts a long time as long as you take the time to keep it de-mineralized.

I've used humidifiers most of my life and was so sick of the constant changing of filters, the messiness of it, the expense. This humidifier is filterless and seems to still remain remarkably clean. We change the water out every two days. There is a special cap for scented oils which is convenient. It has some noise to it (sounds like rain). That's why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars...that noise, which I find soothing, may bother someone else.

Machine performed exactly as claimed. It augments a steam humidifier installed in the house (2000 sq.ft) warm air heating system, by maintaining humidity levels in the bedroom. Sice its installation I have had no further nose bleeds.

This Warm air humidifier works better than any other that I have tried. It is easier to clean and fill. I use it in a fairly large bedroom and it does the job very well. No static shocks from the cats

This is the best of the warm mist humidifiers. It only needs filling once a day and I have it covering a large space on high humidity. I would recommend this to all.
