Fiberglass Testing Procedure

Manufactured by Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab), the Fiberglass Screen Check Kit includes all the materials you need to complete a fiberglass screening on your indoor air. The kit features Bio-Scan 400 tape, which is used to collect an air quality sample so that EDLab technicians can identify fiberglass particles (cts/m2).

Sampling the air is simple and foolproof when you use the kit's step-by-step instructions and the detailed explanation on how to handle the collection tape and retrieve the sample. Once sampling is complete, you'll place the collection tape in the protective plastic case and mail it to EDLab. A pre-addressed envelope is included in the test kit, and lab fees are included in the price. Within 7 to 10 days, you'll receive the results of your environment's full fiberglass lab analysis and a free fiberglass fact sheet.
