Durable Friedrich Construction

The window air conditioner cabinet is constructed with heavy 20-gauge steel and the cabinet's aluminum endplates resist rusting, unlike other window ACs. Additionally, the CP18F30 features a robust, commercial-grade fan that is fully enclosed for better protection. The fan runs on a lower temperature to prevent the AC from overheating and to contribute to a longer life. A solid sleeve top protects the fan from falling debris, which can obstruct operation and render the AC inoperable. Window or Through-Wall Installation Options

This Friedrich air conditioner can be installed in standard vertical sash windows or through a wall. The AC comes with installation hardware for each type. For flexible integration into your environment, the CP18F30 includes a 6-foot power cord that runs either left or right through the side of the AC cabinet.
