Versatile Operation

This Friedrich Chill Plus model offers versatile room comfort with 3 fan speeds and the ability to cool, provide supplemental heat, or act as fan. Despite its ultra-quiet operation, this powerful AC offers 18,000 BTUs of cooling power and 12,000 BTUs of heating power to keep your indoor environment comfortable all year.  

A MoneySaver mode alternately cycles the compressor and fan to keep your room comfortable without continuously running in Cool mode. This feature helps reduce energy usage and operating costs. An automatic restart function retains your selected settings and automatically restarts with those settings when the power returns after an outage. This Friedrich window AC also naturally dehumidifies while in Cool mode, ensuring your space is full of cool, fresh air.

Durable Construction and Design

The window air conditioner’s cabinet is constructed with heavy, 20-gauge steel and the cabinet's aluminum endplates resist rusting. Additionally, the EP18G33 features a robust, commercial-grade fan that is fully enclosed for better protection. The fan runs on a lower temperature to prevent the AC from overheating and to contribute to a longer life. A solid sleeve top protects the fan from falling debris, which can obstruct operation and render the AC inoperable.

• 24 hour timer: Program your AC to automatically turn on or shut down with specific settings up to 24 hours in advance.
