When the sensor detects an area that needs an extra boost of cooling power, the Friedrich XQ06M10 automatically turns on to deliver the much needed cool air.  

In addition to ComfortWatch Technology, this Friedrich window air conditioner also includes the Smart Fan feature. This feature maintains the desired comfort level of your room for extended periods of time by automatically adjusting the fan speed to maintain a cool environment. This saves you the constant hassle of manually adjusting the fan due to changes in room temperature. For example, if a group of people enter the room, your Friedrich XQ06M10 will automatically operate at a higher fan speed to compensate for the increased heat load.

Energy-Efficient Design

The Friedrich XQ06M10 is an Energy Star-rated product, which means that it saves you valuable energy dollars without sacrificing style and functionality. When this setting is active, this Friedrich window AC cycles the fan on and off with the compressor to avoid increased energy consumption due to a constantly running fan.

To further increase savings, the Friedrich XQ06M10 includes a 24-hour timer. This convenient feature allows you to easily program when the air conditioner turns on and when it turns off. For example, to conserve energy while you are away from the home, the air conditioner can be turned off and programmed to turn on an hour before you return.  This Friedrich X-Star model also comes with memory back-up, which saves your settings in case power is interrupted.

The X-Star XQ06M10 was designed to withstand years of continuous use. This compact window AC is constructed of 20-gauge steel and features a solid sleeve top to protect the AC’s internal components from falling debris. A slide-out chassis makes it easy for you to simply slide the AC into place during installation and slide it back out for hassle-free maintenance.

The Friedrich XQ06M10 fits snuggly into standard vertical sash windows as small as 22 inches wide and through wall openings as small as 14.25 inches wide. Automatic Component Protection ensures that the AC’s compressor will not be damaged in the event of unexpected power interruption. The heavy-duty side curtains reduce exterior noise and light to make your environment even more comfortable.

In addition, this window AC features a rust-proof drain and a slide-out antimicrobial air filter. This washable antimicrobial air filter safeguards your window AC against harmful bacteria and fungus growth. EntryGard Protection and a mosquito trap are also included to protect your home from kick-in intrusion and unwanted insects.
