I purchased this filter to REDUCE the amount of white dust emitted from my puregaurdian humidifier due to the very hard Las Vegas water. It reduced the white dust about 75% which is what I wanted to accomplish. It will work even better if your water supply is softer or if you are running a water softening system in the house (which I do not have). I have noticed the difference with this filter and do recommend it. Super easy installation, the product was as advertised, packaged very well for shipping and delivered very fast.

I ordered this decalcifier and it arrived at my address within a couple of days. The product was exactly as described and I'm thrilled that I don't have to use distilled water in my humidifier as this was getting expensive and inconvenient. I was impressed that Sylvane sent out e-mail notification on shipment as well as a follow-up e-mail to ask about service. I would definitely order from this company again!
