The Germ Guardian mid-size ultrasonic digital humidifier (H1600) is not only the ideal size but is quiet and provides just the right amount of moisture to a room as specified. The idea that it does not have to have regular cleaning for mold, is definitely a plus.
Its easy portability makes it possible to take it from room to room without a problem. I bought two of these humidifiers for friends who were having difficulty breathing and coughing due to flu-like problems, and they both said it helped them so much. The product features, as described in the literature, is true.
Although this humidifier is more expensive than many others, I have found that you get what you pay for! It's worth the price!
The customer service staff were helpful and courteous, and the product was sent out without delay.
Personally, I have the old fashioned steam type wherein the humidifier after each use needs to be thoroughly cleaned out with bleach. I am planning on purchasing a Germ Guardian for myself. It's a good investment for a health care product.

This is an excellent humidifier for cool or warm mist. I use one in each of the bedrooms, including the nursery, our toddler's room, and the master bedroom. It's very quiet, easy to use and fill, easy to clean, and best of all, does NOT require replacement cartridges or filters! Definitely worth the price!

This humidifier has been a great find. The vapor output is fantastic and the maintenance couldn't be easier. Plus I love that I have the option to control the night light. I need a dark room when I sleep and this allows me to have that and still benefit from a properly humidified environment.

I could not sleep with a standard humidifier. I bought the PG H1500 and can run it at full moisture and it makes no noise. It works much better than any humidifier I've ever had. With silver technology I only clean it once a week, with no concern about mold

I have been using the unit for a month at night in our bedroom. The unit is quiet, I like that it has three settings,and a light on the main panel. Can be used as a cool or warm mist, no filters required.
Nice unit.
