The Haier ESA408J is a 8,000 BTU Energy Star qualified window air conditioner with remote control and digital time and temperature display. Fixed chassis, quiet operation, washable filter and 3 cool and fan only settings. This powerful, compact room air conditioner has great features such as 4 way air direction, programmable timer, energy saver mode, and a dehumidify function to keep the air around you even more comfortable.

Energy Star Qualified with Eco-Friendly Refrigerant

The ESA408J is Energy Star Qualified, and it has an EER of 10.8. ESA408J uses R410A refrigerant that features zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential). This Eco-friendly refrigerant has no impact on the atmospheric ozone layer, which protects us from harmful radiation and global warming. This unit is also RoHS compliant, which means the product conform's to strict EU's directive of "Restriction of Hazardous Substances." RoHS compliance insures the product will be free of Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg) and other heavy metal substances that have negative affects on the environment.
