Automatic Humidity Control

The Haier HD456 Dehumidifier features an automatic humidistat for no-hassle humidity control. This function automatically regulates the room's humidity without human intervention. To use, simply set your desired humidity level using the manual knob on the top of the unit. Once your desired level is selected, the unit will intermittently cycle on and off to maintain that level. This feature ensures that your space maintains the optimal moisture level to stop mold growth, prevent moisture damage, and kill dust mites.

Simple Maintenance

Emptying collected water and staying on top of maintenance is easier than ever with this Haier dehumidifier. The HD456 features a 25-pint front-loading water bucket with carrying handle for easy access and movement when emptying collected moisture. The water bucket's extra large capacity means that you'll spend less time emptying it throughout the day. If the bucket fills to capacity before you can empty the water, there's no need to worry. The unit will automatically shut off to prevent overflow. A bucket full indicator light will illuminate red until you can empty the bucket.

Collected water can also be drained using the continuous gravity drain method. To set up this feature, simply attach the supplied drainage hose to the drain port on the back on the dehumidifier. Water will then drain through the hose and into a nearby drain or out through a window, depending on your preference.
