The Haier HD456E Dehumidifier is the perfect appliance for controlling the humidity in small- to medium-sized spaces, such as bedrooms, storage rooms, laundry rooms, basements, garages, or workshops. This AHAM-certified unit efficiently removes up to 45 pints of moisture per day and uses an automatic humidistat to continually regulate your indoor humidity as conditions change. Automatic Humidity Control

The Haier HD456E Dehumidifier is equipped with automatic humidistat control. This function automatically regulates the room's humidity without any human intervention. Using the electronic control panel on the top of the unit, you can set your desired humidity level with the touch-button controls. Once your optimal level is selected, the unit will intermittently cycle on and off to maintain that level. This feature ensures that your space maintains the right moisture level to stop mold growth, prevent moisture damage, and kill dust mites.

Easy Maintenance

Dehumidifier maintenance should be a breeze, and this Haier dehumidifier is no exception to that rule. The HD456E features a front-loading water bucket with carrying handle for easy access and mobility when emptying collected moisture. In addition, the water bucket has an extra large capacity of 25 pints, which reduces the number of times you spend emptying the bucket throughout the day. Should the collection bucket fill to capacity before you can empty the water, the unit will automatically shut off to prevent overflow. A bucket full indicator light will illuminate red until you can empty the bucket.

You can also opt to empty collected water using the continuous gravity drain method. To set up, simply attach the supplied drainage hose to the drain port on the back on the dehumidifier. Water will then drain through the hose and into a nearby drain or out through a window, depending on what you prefer.
