The Haier HD656E Dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic humidistat. This tool automatically regulates the humidity of a space without any human intervention. To use, simply set your desired humidity level with the touch-button controls on the unit's electronic control panel. Once your optimal level is selected, the unit will intermittently cycle on and off to maintain that level. This feature ensures that your space maintains the correct moisture level to stop mold growth, prevent moisture damage, and kill dust mites.

Simple Maintenance

This Haier dehumidifier gives you the tools to stay on top of unit maintenance. The HD656E features a front-loading water bucket with carrying handle for easy access and mobility when emptying collected moisture. Additionally, the water bucket features an extra large capacity of 25 pints, which reduces the number of times you'll spend emptying the bucket throughout the day. Should the collection bucket fill to capacity before you can empty the water, there's no need to worry. The dehumidifier will automatically shut off to prevent overflow, and a bucket full indicator light will illuminate red until you can empty the bucket.

Routine drainage is also possible using the continuous gravity drain method. To set up, attach the supplied drainage hose to the drain port on the back on the unit. Water will then drain through the hose and into a nearby drain or out through a window, depending on what you prefer.
