Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
Pump works great to transfer water from dehumidifier to an available drain so that unattended operation can continue when we are away and unable to empty the dehumidifier tank.

Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
This is an excellent product bought from a first class company. You can expect no problems here.
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
used this in conjunction with purchased basement dehumidifier
does a great job , pumps up as advertised and takes the worry out of emptying a dehumidifier bucket
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
This product has performed as advertised. I would have to say that I am satisfied with it.
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
It does what I needed it to do, which is to pump condensate from a dehumidifier to an open drain. This only required 1' of lift, so I can't speak for how much lift it provides, as my application did not require much.I was a little concerned in the O-ring design, but it does not leak. A solid outer housing seems to make more sense, but like I said, it does not leak, so it is not a factor. It is doing what I need it to do.
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
so far working as promised. Good customer service.
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
The pump is ugly & needs to be in a place where it won't get jostled, but it works like a dream. Basically it has a a reservoir that the dehumidifier drains into & when it hits a certain level it automatically pumps the water out (quietly). Ours pumps water up about 4 feet high with no problems. We use it without problems in series with our Comfort-Aire BHD-651-G Dehumidifier.
We did need to reseat the O-ring on the bottom of the reservoir because the product initially leaked (straight out of the box). This was a bit of a pain, but the instructions show you how to do it & it has run flawlessly since.
This product is a great way to just leave the dehumidifier running & forget about things (like emptying a bucket).
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
Instructions clear easy to setup with dehumidifier. Replaces 6 year old model that was in operation 24 hrs a day 7 days a week for 6 years, non stop.
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
So-far-so-good. It sure beats having to dump a water basket two, and sometimes three, times per day. I would greatly recommend this item and would purchase it again (as long as it continues to work properly in the future).
Comments about Hartell Condensate Pump:
I recently had a mold inspector inspect my house. The inspection report indicated non-toxic mold in my basement and that I would need to purchase a dehumidifier. I purchased a Danby dehumidifier from Sylvane.com, which worked great, but I was getting tired of emptying the water out of it every time it fills up. I sometimes accidentally spill some water out of the bucket onto the basement floor when carrying the bucket.
So I shopped around for an automatic condensate pump that water from the dehumidifier can continuously drain into and found some at lowes and home depot. They were all over-priced and didn't even come with a plastic tube for water to be pumped out through to the outside. Then I remembered that I purchased my dehumidifier from Sylvane.com and went on their website to check them out. They had exactly what I was looking for; a good quality pump, low price (they don't charge taxes or shipping), and better yet, the pump came with a free 20 foot flexible plastic tube to attach to the pump.
If I had gone to lowes or home depot, I would have over paid for the pump, paid taxes, and also had to pay a dollar or two per foot of tubing and maybe have the correct tube for my pump.
