Comments about Hi-E Dry 195 Dehumidifier:
This is the fourth one we have purchased. We use them in the winter to keep our warehouse dry because we manufacture concrete products indoors. We have found the dehumidifier works the best when keeping the heat at or above 58F.

Comments about Hi-E Dry 195 Dehumidifier:
This unit is controlling the humidity in a 18,500sf warehouse...all by itself! It was going to cost me 4 times this much to use our local AC contractor with conventional solutions. Love the product, thank you!

Excellent product, will tell others.
Comments about Hi-E Dry 195 Dehumidifier:
The subject unit was put into operation nine days ago to control humidity in a 2,700 Sq. ft. basement at 65 Deg F. In the first 24 hours, the relative humidity dropped from 68 percent to 50 percent, matching the same setting of 50 percent on the Hi-E Dry 195 control panel. The Hi-E Dry 195 has turned itself on less and less as the humidity gasses out of the building structure. Just one step into the basement area and there is startling evidence of the reduced humidity and disappearance of musty odor. The subject unit is installed in a house three miles from the southern shore of Lake Superior.
I am very pleased with the unit's performance. Further, I am most pleased with the service and support from the people at Sylvane.
Comments about Hi-E Dry 195 Dehumidifier:
This unit does the trick. I run a small (3,000 gallon) aquaculture facility breeding fish and coral, both salt and freshwater. This unit did not put a big dent in my huge electric bill. My only complaint is that it runs constantly and puts off some heat, not a lot for its size, but enough that I have to now run chillers for my setups. I also wish -- maybe they do -- they made reusable filters. I have gone through 2 sets in 6 months, but a small price to pay to control any mold issues. The humidity rarely hits 50% and this is only on wet rainy days, but the unit never really shuts off, but considering the amount of surface area that my setup has, it controls the humidity well. It's not quiet, but not unbearable, I guess this goes with the territory.
I am satisfied with this unit and the price is worth the power consumption, runs on 110 so no special wiring needed to install and has yet to trip the circuit breaker! I am not a expert in dehumidifiers, but I think this unit is a winner!
