If you elect to display a television we recommend that it be a slim profile flat-screen and that it be positioned away from the front edge of the mantel where there is a degree of heat generated from the firebox. It is also recommended that any flat screen TV be secured to the wall behind it for added safety and security. Manufacturer assumes no responsibility for items placed on top of a fireplace mantel.

Two and a half months ago we contracted to remodel our living room and purchased among other items, your Narita Media Console furnace. We finally reached the point yesterday to assemble the unit and put it in place today. Can't beat it with a stick! It really stands out and adds to the overall appearance of our remodel. Surprisingly, the unit's materials, hardware and firebox are of very good quality. I don't believe corners were cut to save a few pennies and with the obvious CAD design, every single item hit its mark. The only bump in the road I had was with attaching a hinged door(2)to its respective panel. The screws are small, the panels are stained dark, I'm down on the garage floor on my feeble knees trying to see through bifocals at two little bitty holes for the hinge. After help from my wife, I got the job done and we're real pleased with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend an SEI product to anyone.
